Before long, Rhubarb, the ghost of Christmas Past, appears, and after taking a trip down memory lane with Bert, Ernie, and Big Bird, another unusual visitor arrives: the cheerful Ghost of Christmas Present, Christmas Carole. Then, Sam, the state-of-the-art ghost of Christmas Future, shows up, programmed to give Oscar a taste of what Christmas will be like in the future.
